Job Summary:

The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  •   None.


  • Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit by assisting in checking. 
  • Responsible for notifying company personnel of clients, visitors, and guests’ arrival and to escort.
  • Maintains security by following company procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
  • Assists with creating company visitor, employee, temp, and contractor badges.
  • Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff and/or and takes messages.
  • Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
  • Responsible for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) inventory in the front desk reception area.
  • Keeps a safe and clean reception area. 
  • Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
  • Performs basic recordkeeping.
  • Performs other duties.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. 
  • Bilingual is a PLUS
